In response to our civic leaders and the recommendations of the health care community and the CDC, The Way will be cancelling all formal gatherings for the time-being. This includes the Sunday worship, the Agape feast, Bible Studies and our LifeGroup series on The Chosen. Not to mentioned our scheduled events
After heavy consideration and discussion we’ve decided to do a couple of different things. First we’d like to recommend that you worship at home. This practice dates back to the very beginning of the church and can be a great way to inspire your family during these days. If a few of you are comfortable meeting together in each other’s homes this could also be an opportunity to connect. However, we also don’t want to put anyone at risk. So please be wise in what and how you decide to do. And most of all lean on the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and prayer as your guide.
In addition to this we will be attempting to do some live streaming services. We’d like to stream some worship songs from our worship team as well as sermons and devotionals. We will also be doing this with our Sunday night Bible study and we hope to somehow incorporate our viewings and discussions of The Chosen as well. The streaming service we are going to use for this is called ezTalks.com
To learn more about it you can visit ezTalks.com. You can also participate on your phone or tablets as well by downloading the ezTalks app. We will be sending out the meeting ids and links and also including them on our FaceBook page.
We know this isn’t ideal and we hate the distancing too. We hope we can all be patient and see what God has planned for all of this. We believe He is moving mightily in it and that great good will be revealed through it. God bless you all.
